“Rick, thanks for the conversations we have had lately with respect to Protech Gasfitting. I had a generator installed on my back deck and the gas fitting was done by Jesse at Protech. It involved a line of about 25 ft. and with some tricky installation around and under the deck. The work done by Jesse was First Class! Jesse is professional and answered all of the questions I had. The City of Calgary came to inspect the work and asked who installed the gas line. When I told him it was Protech his comment was that Protech does excellent work. Of course it passed inspection with flying colours. Thanks again for the great customer service.”

I had a gas line put into my house for a gas bar-b-cue by Protech. The installer had to enter my home while I was at work. There was no mess or evidence that anyone had been there. It was so well done that I didn’t even realize it had been installed. They took care of the permits and inspection, so it was completely hassle free. The work was done exactly as described and works great. I would definitely recommend Protech Plumbing.

I would like to send this note of thanks to Protech Gas-fitting & Plumbing. After soliciting three separate quotes we settled on Protech to perform the work we required. It was obvious right from the very beginning that Protech stood apart from the rest. Rick Kirkland responded within only a few hours to our request for information, even though my request was after hours.

Not only was Protech Gas-fitting prompt with their reply but they were incredibly detailed, explaining every requirement as well as the cost of each step c/w materials. We were able to arrange for the work to be performed within just a few days. Outstanding service already!

Today, the service person (Sterling) arrived on time, fully prepared to perform the work. This service person exemplified the professional services of Protech Gas-fitting. Sterling as well dressed, polite and explained exactly what was required. Once completed he also explained the shutoff valves and showed us the work he did from one end to the other. I am also a tradesperson and can assure you that the work Sterling did was done in a timely and professional manner. Every connection as well as the positioning of the gas line, was neat and clean.

He also scheduled our City Inspection before leaving.

Protech Gas-fitting & Plumbing was simply the best choice we could have made. We certainly will recommend the services of Protech to anyone we know requiring Gas-fitting service work.

It is so refreshing to know that old fashioned honesty, accuracy and efficiency although not easy to find, does still exist.

Just to say THANK YOU for getting the EMPIRE Heater installed before the weather turned colder. The heater works just great, and I have used it for my piano work. And also, I was concerned about the pilot light not blowing out. It has not gone out even though we had about one of the most wicked winds we will likely ever get. It was that south wind we all remember. All went well, and THANKS again for your fantastic work and a great heater.

I have built and managed a few companies and understand the importance of service. I was impressed.

As for pricing, you were very competitive but what attracted me to your company was (a) the promptness of your reply and (b) the detailed manner in which you explained your pricing structure. You were completely transparent. I don’t look for the cheapest quote. I look for what I deem to be transparency and integrity. You immediately demonstrated both. I am very happy to say it was also well represented by Sterling.

The other companies (both well known) failed miseablyOne did not respond until I reminded them and the other was so vague with their pricing that an immediate red flag came up for me.

I will certainly tell others about your company and in fact already have.

I was very happy with the job Jesse did on my BBQ line. He left the job very clean, neat and professional. I had another quote on the job that was more than twice the cost and they said they would have to cut several holes in the ceiling and soffit to get the job done. Jesse installed it with no holes in the ceiling or soffit and the cost was less than ½ the other quote. I would definitely recommend you guys on to anyone that would require gas work.

Just a quick note to say thank you for the recent work completed at our home. We came across your company by way of a referral from a friend who knows one of your staff, Jessie. In short, Jessie did a brilliant job. We wanted to re-run a ling through the floor joists, install a gas line into our kitchen for a future gas range, and run a new line to the back of the house for our natural gas BBQ. Jessie was very articulate in explaining to me the ins and outs of the job as I like knowing the finer details of it all. As I said, Jessie was brilliant. Not only was he quick to do the work, efficient, and cleaned up after himself but during the process of installing the line for our BBQ, he noticed an issue with the insulation in the rim-joists of our foundation. Jessie pointed this out to us, saving us a massive headache and expense down the road had the issue gone unnoticed. Not only are we pleased with the work done and the very reasonable price to do the work, we are more than happy to spread the good word about Protech Plumbing.
